Professional Silk Rug Cleaning: Hand washing a small persian pure silk rug. Short video of washing a small pure silk persian rug in aqueous cleaning solution using a conservation grade detergent for silk oriental rugs using a soft brush, first we stabilised the fugitive/unstable dyes then flooded with water and applied the cleaning solution, after flushing and rinsing we applied a special rinse solution to the rug and then rinsed well for the last time, after we extracted the water by absorbing with white towels then dried by air flow.
