I remember when I bought my first light colored rug and was googling rug maintenance because I was determined to keep it looking new. Well I figured someone else out there is like me and now that I have finished decorating my dining room with the arrival of my new Safavieh Rug (http://safavieh.com/rugs/tibetan/tb108q), I figured I’d make a short video.

Obviously both my cats wanted to be featured so it s a lot of cats rolling around on a cream colored rug but non the less a video about Rug Maintenance. Basically all it says is vacuum daily not because its a high pile rug but because I have pets and although they don’t shed much I don’t like wearing black socks and having cat hair all over them. Also if you happen to spill on the rug, DON’T RUB! Dab or blot instead to get the stain out. I always have some sort of stain remover solution because my cats take joy in pushing things off the dining table and I’m often cleaning up after them. Other thank that I don’t do much but DEMAND that people take off their shoes when entering my apartment. Hehe 🙂
