Although this carpet was recently installed, the last tenants had a dog and so the carpets were full of pet hair, and needed a good cleaning to restore their appearance.
While this job can be done with an extractor, it would require longer drying time to get the carpet back on line, so low moisture cleaning is highly preferable in these conditions. Why take a chance on over-wetting a carpet that is basically clean?
