We picked up this new Legend GT truckmount about 6 months ago. We had heard that it is more simple to use and work on, better vacuum and holds heat better. But just because they make these claims doesn’t make it so. So we put it to the test. And for several months we put it up against the dirtiest rat nasties we could find. How did it do? Excellent!
The extra vacuum with the optional 2.5″ port opens up the unit to a huge increase in vacuum and lift. This delivers better dry times. The machine holds the heat very nicely and gets up to temps in minutes. I recommend starting in the cleanest room and then moving to towards the dirtier rooms. By then your heat will be cranking. The better heat enables the wand to cut through dirty carpet traffic patterns fast!
Over all the unit is a little cleaning beast. To top off the great cleaning ability Prochem listened to cleaners concerns. They made a nice small foot print that frees up a ton of space esp if you get the belly tank like I did. But probably the best thing is they made the unit very simple to work on and maintain. Critical filters and orifices used to be locate do the side of the unit making it difficult to access. Now they moved them to the front panel. How sweet it is!
Now its easy to see why Prochem has been a rock solid company through the decades. With the new Prochem Legend GT that have solidified that rock solid status in the cleaning industry. Rock on Prochem!
