Oreck Orbiter, One Of The Best Home Carpet Cleaners!

This three bedroom carpet was a disaster! The stains were awful, but the amount of food debris (crumbs and hard candy stuck to the carpet) was beyond anything we’ve dealt with recently.

Starting with the Ridgid WD1450 wet/dry vacuum, and Ridgid’s Carpet and Hard Floor Nozzle (links below), we slowly and methodically removed all the loose debris possible.

In some instances we used the Grandi Groom carpet rake (link below) to break up the embedded debris before vacuuming, which we didn’t video, but is important to emphasize.

Then we pre-sprayed the carpets with Tide laundry detergent (liquid mixed at one capful Tide to two gallons of water).

The Oreck Carpet Brush (link below) was used to pre-scrub the stains and traffic areas, before cleaning with the Oreck Carpet Bonnet (link below).

Finally the afore mentioned Grandi Groom was used to final rake the carpets to give them a uniform appearance and to aid final drying.
