This carpet was badly worn and stained and hadn’t been vacuumed in months.
We first used the Oreck Orbiter with Carpet Brush to go over everything to break up the embedded dirt and matted down carpet. This loosened everything for the pre-vacuuming process, which was done with the Ridgid WD1450 Wet/Dry Vac and the Ridgid Carpet and Hard Floor Nozzle.
This videos shows a little of the vacuuming, and a great shot of the finished results in the vacuum when done.
The carpet was then cleaned with the Oreck Orbiter and the Carpet Bonnet, which is soaked in clean water and wrung out just prior to use.
The carpets are pre-sprayed with Simple Green on the stains, and Fabuloso and water on the remainder.
Lastly, the carpet is raked with the Grandi Groom Carpet Rake to make the appearance even, and to help drying time.
