This is a quick tip for professional carpet cleaners.
After heating up your truckmount, most cleaners will start cleaning and will do about half a room with cold water that was in the hoses.

Instead, use an old solution hose line, cut it short to your desired length, put a male quick disconnect on it and flush the water until it is hot.

As you can see in the video, this method also helps to create a hot pre spray which makes a huge difference when releasing soils in the carpet.

This also helps with flushing pet urine if you have a water claw.

I recommend a shut off valve on your lead hose,
Try to get the Parker valves with the yellowish orange knob, made in Italy. They last forever.
