The tips are:
1) Blot up the stain with a clean cloth as soon as you can, the less time it has to sit, the better
2) Don’t use heat as it sets the stain
3) Don’t scrub the stain as that pushes it in further
4) Use dish soap and water for easy to remove, general stains
Also, some things to note:
-Treat each stain with the proper antidote, not one product can work for every kind of stain so know what kind of stain it is first
-Call in the pros if you are really kerfuffled.
-Remove fresh blood stains by spitting on them! Saliva contains enzymes that break down the blood.
