Getting carpets dry! 20 Tips & Tricks of Carpet Cleaning Pros video!
http://www.truckmountforums.com/threads/20-tips-on-how-to-dry-carpets-video-cleaning-professionals.49959/
Anyone who knows me knows I am a big proponent of getting carpets not only clean but also as dry as possible. When you can get the carpets dry to the touch before you leave this is a huge PMOT (positive moment of truth). So many problems can be avoided that are “customer retention” killers. Wicking,re-occuring stains and browning are eliminated which are NMOT (negative moments of truth). Why? Because by getting the carpets dry you and the more importantly the client, get to see the final result!
Yes we have had threads on this subject in the past but having to remind my techs at times prompted me to make a Youtube video. Sometimes they fail to see the importance so I created this video to give them. I shot this yesterday. The first 10 tips are in the parking lot by my truck. The second 10 are inside a home. Hopefully this video will help some of you too.
I do know this however. Some have the knowledge but don’t apply it. Sad I have driven up on carpet cleaners and they have air movers on their truck and they don’t use them. So knowledge without application is worthless. So I highly recommend if you are a professional carpet cleaner to work on getting the carpets dry as fast as possible. With 20 ways at our disposal there is no reason anyone in the carpe cleaning business can’t get carpets virtually dry before we leave. I hope this video helps. You can help me in return by “liking” the video on Youtube or even better if you leave a comment.
